I remember Brodie using this document as a source repeatedly to make some interesting points. It sounds like while it's now suspected to be a forged document, it essentially compiles a bunch of Cowdery's earlier statements. If you were to double check these citations as you went through Brodie, you might gain some more perspective on what Cowdery has to say.
